Hi, I’m Andrew!

I like building things for the web.

Professionally, I am a Technical Lead in the development team at Glass Atlas. I work primarily with Shopify, building storefronts and integrations for clients such as Sicence Museum, St John Ambulance and RNIB.

I love travel and run a blog and travel guide website called Unfamiliar Places.

I have a BSc (Hons) in Computing from Sheffield Hallam University.

I also have started making 3D models for 3D printing which I share for free on my Maker World page.

Fun projects

• Unfamiliar Places - A travel journal.
• Type That Phrase - A game of Catchphrase in a cursed lift. Created in 48 hours with friends using Godot.
• Duck Duck Loose - Reunite a mother and her ducklings. A short game created with a team of friends for GMTK 2021 using Unity.
• Last Event Scraper - A set of Python scripts for scraping event data from Last.fm.
• Verkabot - A simple Eurovision themed Discord bot written in Ruby.
